| After my husband and I traveled around
the world for 601 days, I wanted to share my picture diary with others
who have an interest in travel. I also wanted to share my passion for
handicrafts, and experimentation, so I studied web design and started
this site in the Spring of 2002.
My real name is “Teruko” (which means “shining child” in Japanese),
but it’s a little difficult for native English speakers to pronounce,
so my husband nicknamed me “Sunny”.
In Japan, I worked for a restaurant chain as a pastry designer and later
for a publishing company as an executive assistant. After our long honeymoon,
we lived in Tokyo for two and a half years. We moved to Los Angeles
in 2003 "Just for the hell of it”.
My hobbies are baking, swimming, dancing salsa and pottery. And, we
love travel! I have been to 62 countries and my husband has been to
101 countries. If you have an interest in our world travels, take a
look at some
of my pages. They are written in Japanese, but hopefully you will
enjoy
the pictures and my
picture diary.
You can also see some articles I wrote for Yahoo! Japan if you want.
